Mid-City Engineering Escort Radar Integration: Display Sticking
Escort Max Ci 360 install, S coupe, Mid-City engineering integration module for same.
Extremely long story short: despite multiple Escort firmware revisions, swapping Mid-City module, swapping Escort control interface, and trying different CAN bus pin site connections, the Mid-City display on the HUD and in the instrument cluster will occasionally "stick" on detections. For example, it will stay stuck on "Ka 34.714" until the ignition cycles. There is a voltage stabilizer inline to the power to both Escort and Mid-City hardware.
I cannot reliably reproduce this issue. Unsure if unrelated or not, but there is a very intermittent issue with very subtle flickering / scan lines in the HUD as well. These lines do not appear solely in the Mid-City output. This does not seem to be connected to the above outwardly.
Have attempted to troubleshoot with Mid-City multiple times. Other than a module swap which they very graciously did, they have not responded to emails.
Does anyone have any other thoughts on this or how to approach next?
