X164 GL No Audio

All buttons work except no volume and the 6 cd changer has disappeared.
One thing I notice is that when I eject the nav dvd and the in dash cd theyre extremely hot can barely touch them. Also the back of the LCD is extremely hot - can’t keep the hand in longer than a sec.
Does AM radio work properly with volume control?
Does FM radio work properly with volume control?
Does satellite radio work properly with volume control?
Do navigation spoken (audible) directions work properly with volume control?
Do you have any modifications on the vehicle? Anything at all?
Are you the first owner of the vehicle? If not, what is the vehicle history? How many miles are on the vehicle?
Need more diagnosis, or just give it to the dealer the ask them to figure it out if you don't have time/desire for it.
Then, I removed the amp-fuse (No. 35 in the trunk) and put it back in - and that fixed it.
So this issue clearly seems related to the AMP.

I just started to have exactly the same symptoms (no audio + cd changer disappeared, everything else seems to work).
If you have Xentry, if you run a diagnose on the MOST fiberoptic loop you can see the broken link. So if the amp is fried then you will have a broken loop and it should pop up.
Also, look at this thread where for some reason command stopped working. I re-started the MOST fiberoptic module and everything came back on.
