I was thinking of replacing the current head with a Pioneer AVIC-W8500NEX. Crutchfield said they didn't recommend the unit for 230 Mercedes because they don't have the adapter or instillation kit. Night vision night vision camera in the front of the car behind the grill. It looks like the camera could fit behind the star, but I'd need to cut a hole in the mesh behind the star. The grills don't seem expensive, but is it important that I leave the original grill intact? It would be nice to feed the night vision and navigation maps into a heads up display. Has anyone done this? For a heads up display I was thinking of a Kiric, (Navdy went out of business).
