moving phone memory on comand system

really confused about speed dialing using Nokia 6310i phone with Comand system. Is it possible to rearrange phone numbers so that we can allocated memory location with the phone numbers.

i have got the names on the phone, say for example SALLY number is in memory location M014. For her to be in speed dial section, the memory location must be in M001 to M009. How do I move her name up the list from M014 to M008 for example.

I believe you need to save it as a speed dial on your phone first. Then it will occupy memory locations 2-8. 1 is voice mail, 9 is emergency, so are generally unavailable for use. I think if you turn off the "emergency 9" feature you may gain use of that location again, or alternately you could store your own number in the emergency number setting.

Is your C200 a W203? I will try it in my G500 (same phone system as W203) in a little while... I am pretty sure it works somehow on my system.

I am using the nokia 6310i UHI phone with command and speed dial does not work with my kit. I have to manually press the phone button. The command buttons don't work....... I think. Also, the memory on my phone has to be stored on the SIM card for the comand to see the numbers. This is really easy to do with the nokia since it has the copy all feature.

Mine definitely works (speed dial, I just tried it by holding down a number on the COMAND keypad). I think it can also access phone numbers in the phone in addition to ones in the SIM, but only if it is a primary number.

I have no idea how to store things in certain memory locations on my Nokia. It's easy with Motorola, but somehow I set mine up and have no idea how I did it. Maybe using the computer software?

congratulation

well done

i had to manually erase all memory on the sim card of the phone, and then manually via the comand system insert the first 10 phone numbers in to occupy the memory spaces for speed dialing

ie M001, M002 .....

does your speed dial number 1 work - mind does not , goes to some funny nokia number

Well, that's the one thing I had right... it's in the first reply to your post. You can change the #1 number too.
