I’m picking up an ‘06 SL55 next week. I owned the same year E55 a few years back and had the Parrot Bluetooth which sucked. ( FWIW, I have a ‘10 E63 and it’s not much better) I’ve been checking around and there seem to be two different MOST to analog converters - one from Nav-TV 💰💰 and one from AvinUsa and a bunch of different Chinese names for $99. It looks like Schoche has a bezel for $104 as well.

Anyone do this convention to a modern CarPlay unit?
