02 c240 cd changer

forgive me for my moronic question -- i searched the posts but didn't find my answer...

i just bought a 02 c240 -- are all c240's prewired for the optic cd changer? if so, where do i find the connectors? does the changer go in the glove box?

thanks a lot in advance...
