forgive me for my moronic question -- i searched the posts but didn't find my answer...

i just bought a 02 c240 -- are all c240's prewired for the optic cd changer? if so, where do i find the connectors? does the changer go in the glove box?

No, not all C240s are prewired for the changer. Almost all US-spec cars are, but you don't indicate your location. The changer goes in the glove box, and the connectors are behind the stereo and are fed through into the glove box. US cars that have a CD changer installed at the dealer or VPC and don't have a phone kit often have a new wire installed because it is a lot faster to do it that way.
