My mods so far... (on a budget) - a few photos
Here are the mods on my CLK so far with limited budget in mind...

Couldn't have done the Dietz adpator mod without the help of Steve! a real true gentleman, really appreciated dude!
at the moment it is hooked up to a portable VCD player, the size of a Discman using the power from the cigarette lighter instead of the AA batteries.Parking sensors are just a set of cheap ones from www.carsensors.com, nice and honest service there as well. It works just like the real PTS, except it start to beep when the light comes on whereas the PTS only beeps on the last 2 lights and it's also quite accurate as well!
Have also got a set of AMG Style III in 17" staggered with the help of Whitey, thanks mate, another honest man from HK
now just have to find a cheap set of Falken 451
Have also finally activated Navi on the IC... thanks to my mechanic John.
Anyway, enjoy the pics...
Cheers,
Ho
There are only 2 wires that you have to wire the sensors to... the reverse light and ground. The rest was trying to work out the best place to hide all the cables. Should take about 1 hour for the first time but it was were to do it again, it should only take 30mins.
1. Wire the sensor's power wire to the car, the Red wire connects to the Blue and Grey wire of the car and Black wire connects to the Brown wire of the car. You may want to confirm the correct wire by using a tester first (the little light-up scew driver), just put the gear in reverse and test the wire if it lights up, make sure it doesn't light up when its in park. Once connected, run the wire around the quarter pannel to the fuse box.
2. Measure the holes with another CLK with PTS
3. Drill the holes with a 19mm or 3/4 "hole drill bit"
4. Drill another hole on the side of the spare wheel compartment (take the spares out first). Install the sensors in the bumper and run the cables through the spare wheel compartment and around the inside of the rear quarter pannel and out of the fuse box.
5. Install the display on the back of the rear shelf with a double sided tape, the wires will run alone the edge of the shelf where there is a gap between shelf and the rear windscreen. The gap will allow you to run the cable down into the boot. Now run the wire to the fuse box.
6. Connect all cables to the sensor's control unit and hide it next to the fuse box.
Thanks it, good luck
