speaker HELP!!
how many speakers does W203 have in total? is there a speaker on the dash in the triangle speaker grill? can i take out the stock sub in the back window and replace it with 6x9? what combo should i get a set of components and a set of coaxials for th back doors.. need advices

3) I believe that Blaupunkt has a new sub out that could possibly replace the factory one.
4) I would never consider a 6 x 9 for a sub.

i have the stock bose system...i see that there is a speaker grill on my dash is that a speaker? and i kno i ave 6.5" door speakers...when i change im thining about 6.5" diamond audio or mbQ's component system in the front door and 6.5" diamond or MBQ coaxials in the back...can i put 2 6x9's in the back window and take out the stock sub? i already have a sub.. or i dont have to put 6x9 onthe back widow

The door speakers are in Bose mounting shells. A 6.25" outside diameter speaker, fits the ring perfectly, like a Kicker K6.2. With a little cutting, for cast frame clearance, a Kicker SS65.2 will also fit.
The subwoofer in the sedan, is a speaker in a molded assembly, I pulled this out and put in a 10" Kicker VR10 sub.
The rear door speakers are coaxial, the front, have the tweeters mounted in the triangles.
The stock Bose door speakers are 2 ohm, the subwoofer is 0.5 ohm.

m444, can you tell me a little bit more about the stock sub replacement? did you end up just putting a kicker sub and box in the trunk or did the kicker sub fit into the stock location (i'm guessing it probably wouldn't)...
i have 2004 c320 with the bose and the sub sux. but i don't want to put an amp and box in to save trunk space. Just wondering if this was a direct stock replacement... thanks.
