Comand unit failure, lots of of others
Yesterday my comand unit on my 2012 E 350 started locking up then restarting every 4-5 minutes. Any previous data in the memory is lost (radio presets, etc)
I commented about it on Facebook and so far I’ve been contacted on Facebook or messenger by 15 people who all had the same problem that started yesterday.
Is there anyone on here that’s having the same problem?
If you had the comand unit lockup and reset issue and fixed it what did you do?

Yes, this happened in my 2012 E63, starting yesterday. I tried every online remedy, but nothing worked. Took out the CD and SD card. Disconnected media cable. Disconnected the cables from both batteries for 30 minutes. Factory reset on the COMAND (which wiped out all data, including music recorded to the register). Deactivated Bluetooth.
Still have the problem, as do dozens of others. All started at the same time.
