Command 2.0 CANbus Issues

Video illustrating the issue rh:https://v.redd.it/ox4pjxzivhu51

This has been happening ever since I installed Command into my 2004 C320.

I did not connect the yellow gala speed sensor wire on the C1/C2 adapter, does that affect CANbus?

From your video it looks like you have something that is interfering with the operation of the CAN bus. An open in the CAN bus should only affect the device it is connected to (e.g., the COMAND unit), yet you are seeing errors at the IC. Are you sure you don't have CAN Hi and CAN low reversed somewhere? What happens if you unplug all connections to the COMAND unit?

If I unplug Command or remove the fuse, my car returns to normal. I tried to troubleshoot and noticed that glitches don't start until I plug up the C1/C2 connections.

Are you instating that it might be a faulty C1/ C2 adapter?

This is the adapter I used: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Car-din-Iso...kAAOSwnnpdSQTv

Either that or the COMAND head unit itself has an issue. Something is interfering with frame transmission on the CAN bus. Do any of the steering wheel controls work for the COMAND system?

Also, I'm not sure on the W203, but on the W463, the IC needs to be reconfigured with a Star system to "COMAND" installed.

The steering wheel controls operate just like the dash, they work but experience the same glitches and go back to normal when the Command is unplugged or fuse removed.

Do you know any other sources for a C1/C2 adapter?

CLK (A209) 200K Cabrio
Hi to all,

I try this thread.

This is my issue: https://1drv.ms/v/s!Amwc4dD_9h8ImcQNHbQXNnfii3uF5w?e=UA5WUn.

I have installed a SONY XAV-AX3005DB car radio on my CLK A209 of 2004 (VIN WDB2094421T017984, engine M271.940).
For use steering wheel buttons, I installed this interface (CONNECTION CAN 2W COMMAND https://connectionis.audison.eu/list...ccia-can-bus&1)When I start the car, the steering wheel controls do not work. But after about an hour or when the car is really hot from being in the sun (my guess), the controls work perfectly, even those for answering phone calls. There are some strange behaviors. When the steering wheel controls do not work, the turn lights have an irregular behavior, the keys to change the command screens work once and once, the high beams have glitches (with a frequency of about one every 3 seconds). If you remove the connector from the interface module, everything returns to normal. I also had a diagnosis done in Mercedes (80 € !!!) and everything is normal. So it's not a car problem.

I'd like to know why the steering wheel buttons works non immediatly but works. And if the strange behaviors are good clues to understand where to find the problem.
Are there anyone that have the same or similar experience/problem?

Thanks

Massimo
