Nubie … Can’t find the Sirius XM on my 2017 C-Class

Hi, I’m new here in the club, since I just got a 2017 C-Class 350e.

I’m amazed by all the new technology in the car, but at times it can be a little confusing.

First I was a little hard to find the difference between FM and HD radio … I’m assuming the radio can have to station on the same frequency !? .. still not to sure about it...
I haven’t figured out how to scroll though the frequencies and then place them on a regular favorite position 1-9. On previous radios I would just scroll though the frequencies then press a number Botton from 1-9 and keep it pressed for 2 seconds till you hear a beeb and the station will be stored as a favorite on that number / button. .. at least thats how most radios work.

…. but to my actually question: I recorded a video of how I went though the radio settings/options. But I can’t find Sirius XM, but I’m sure the car has serious XM Satellite radio , I even got a serious XM brochure when I bought the car.

Here the video : IMG_0097.MOV

I know it's not connected to the internet radio since the requires an actual internet connection and when I click it, the car will try to make the www connection.
Does somebody have an idea on how to get to the Satellite Radio ?

I might have solved the first mystery : check out the video

To scroll though all frequencies and program/pre set channels ..

Go to:

-Radio / Menu Botton

-Options in the left bottom corner of the screen

- current station / channel listing

- little hidden, but there you will find all station frequencies and can scroll though them

- by holding the button for 2 sec. you get to the stations in flip mode and can now hold down the button down again for 2 sec. and you will get to the positions 1-12 and there you can set the channel position , by holding down the button again for 2 sec.

But where the satellite radio is hitter, I haven’t found out yet….

I'm afraid, but it looks like your car doesn't have Sirius XM. You are on the correct screen. If you had Sirius XM it would show up next to HD Radio AM/FM, Internet Radio and Presets. You also seem to have the small screen, so this doesn't appear to be a well configured car. Based on what I found, Sirius XM was part of the Premium 1 Package for MY2017, along with Heated Seats, Burmester Sound System, KEYLESS-GO and Blind Spot Assist.

You can enter your VIN here https://www.mbdecoder.com/ and get the full list of options for your car. Sirius Satellite Radio would be on it if your car has it. Option codes may have changed, but for my 2019 C63 it's option code 536.

Thanks for the tips and the link @superswiss !! I guess I just don’t have the option … Heated Seats, and Blind Spot Assist would have been nice too … I wonder how much the that packages would have cost the previous owner.
Instead I’m now enjoying his choice of an extra hybrid motor .. which is pretty nice and economical and also gives you a nice boost in super sport mode.
I have serious XM in one of my other cars and kind of like it but I usually hook up my phone via blue tooth for spotify streaming in the C class, I will just go with the streaming option of serious xm which only costs $1 more to you can us the app and stream on on all your devices . ( just found that out )
