Ideas to route USB charging cable in W211 without damage/change to dash
Hi,
I have a 2008 E300 (W211) that I've equipped with an iPhone XR holder for hands free operation. The mount has wireless charging and requires a USB charging cable to be installed. The phone mount is attached to a Pro Clip centre dash mount. The USB cable I'm using at the moment is sufficiently long that it can reach to the rear power adapter. I'm challenged with hiding the cable in the dash area and need ideas. Here's a photo of the setup so far.
You can see the wire hanging down past the ignition lock. Presently it disappears under the centre console and exits at the rear power adapter.
I'd like to have suggestions as to how to route the wire without damaging the dash or making modifications (like cutting parts or drilling holes) so that I can restore the OEM look at a later time.
