Reverse camera retrofit on NTG2.5 with Media Interface ?

Reverse camera retrofit on NTG2.5 with Media Interface ?
Hi there,
I'm considering such a reverse camera retrofit on my 12/2008 CLS 350 CGI, which has COMAND NTG2.5
Thing is, it also has "Media Interface" (option # 518, I think), with the multi-purpose rectangular connector in the glove box, that I'm actually happily using to read music from an USB stick.
Just to take a preliminary look at the prerequisites, I searched a bit using StarDiag to see if I could find what should be activated, and in the section where you could select an option for video aux (where I was hoping to see a "reverse camera" choice), it basically says (sorry if phrasing is not correct, I'm translating from french DAS) :
"this setting can not be changed because video aux is already in use by media interface"
Am I looking in the wrong place, or getting something wrong ? Because I read a whole lot of threads about reverse cameras, here and on other forums, and I think somewhere, someone had this NTG2.5 + Media Interface config work with a reverse camera.
I'm just trying to figure out if this is feasible at all, before trying to get the hardware and start the assembly.
Any advice / help would be much appreciated.
