2021 MBUX Radio keeps re-loading stations and cuts out every few seconds
SubscribeHi!
So I am having this really strange and annoying issue with my family's new 2021 GLC300.
When listening to the radio, it works for about ~2 seconds. Then goes silent for 10 seconds, shows "please wait...", re-loads all the stations, and the cycle continues.
I reset the whole system to no avail. A couple of weeks ago I accidentally damaged the right side mirror and had to replace the front mirror cap. Oddly enough, this issue started happening a couple of days after that, though I doubt that they are connected. It seems more like a software error, since the radio does indeed work fine for those two seconds before it cuts out again. And I also doubt they would put the radio antenna in a rear view mirror.
Here's a quick video I took: (In the video it's set to a random frequency, it does play music if I switch over to an actual station)
Would appreciate any help!

Hi, did you manage to get this fixed? I have exactly the same problem on a brand new Sprinter with the radio repeatedly resetting, same on DAB, AM & FM so the unit is unusable !Originally Posted by vincentjm

Hi, Did you manage to get this fixed? I have exactly the same problem on a brand new sprinter AWD, it happens on DAB, FM, & AM so the radio is completely useless!

Hello Paul,
Did the problem fix itself for you too? I'm having the exact same problem, the radio had this problem directly after I bought the car (second hand), then it worked for two days, and then it had the problem again and still.

For me the problem fixed itself eventually too, after a 2000 km trip to France and back (to The Netherlands).Originally Posted by stefanvn
