Cant seem to find a battery case for iphone xr that works with apple carplay in c 300. Found a battery case that supports apple carplay and wireless charging that works in my sons kia but not in the mercedes. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

 

Sorry, I have no idea what you are talking about. Are you referring to a protective case for your phone, such as Otterbox? I use the brand Spigen (on Amazon) and it works fine with proximity charging and wireless CarPlay. I'm assuming you have factory CarPlay. Do you know if it works wirelessly? My daughter's Honda requires a wired connection.

 

i currently have a mophie and it does not pass data to the car. If i connect my iphone xr to car it works. When i go through the mophie it doesn’t. Perhaps the brand u are using will work. Thanks

 

At first I was also confused about what you are talking about. But I get it know. I don't use battery cases, but yes they basically hide the phone's lightning port and have their own, but that port may only work for charging. I found this link. It only shows the Alphatronix as being compatible with CarPlay.
