Comparing different android units.
Has anyone compared the different android head units? I talking from different manufacturers and different years form the same manufacturers.
I can’t seem get a good enough picture of if they are physically different or if it is mostly software improvements. My understanding is that they are made by one manufacturer and then sold to companies like Avin and xtron.

No idea really. I think you're probably right that they're all made in one place and then they fan out through various eBay / ali-express car stereo folks.
It would be great to know exactly which headunit I have but there's no markings on the outside of the box and it is meant to be a copy of the original Mercedes unit so externally it looks like the Mercedes stereo.
I would guess somewhere in the system settings there is an 'about' screen which tells you what it is but mine isn't installed yet.
