Anybody know where to get a spare plug to connect a new device (stereo) into the CANBUS. Or alternatively does anyone know if it's okay to splice into an existing wire... only problem is I assume it's going to log a fault on the system if one of the devices becomes disconnected while I make the connection. Could use the in-line type crimp I suppose which would allow me to tap into the wire without removing it from the bus.
Got one from a 2007 Mercedes Sprinter van. There's a panel beside the accelerator pedal on RHD and there's a little strip of connectors on a CAN BUS hub.
