COMAND Lossless Audio Formats (w204 E350)
as far as I understand it the highest quality options are to either listen to music from an external player (aux in; not practical enough for me), play from a CD (or a rip onto the internal harddrive; this is essentially 44.1khz at 16 bits, but I do prefer no CD and an external drive), or to go for .mp3 320kbit/s via USB stick or SD card.
This is rather dissapointing since the sound system is quite decent. I usally go for 96khz 24bits or even 192khz 24bits (FLAC). Using .mp3 320kbit/s is a substantial downgrade.
Is there any way to get anything higher than 320kbit/s .mp3 with an external drive?
Thank you very much in advance!
