Any idea why my Apple CarPlay doesn’t fill up the whole screen on my 2022 GLC 300? Is there a full screen setting that I’m missing? I’ve seen pictures online of the same screen with the the picture filling out the sides.
That's because you have MBUX. The left and the right side gives you access to home and messages via the touchscreen and shows the climate information. It's how MB has designed it. It's fullscreen in my C63, because I have the latest COMAND. MBUX is in several ways a step backwards and this issue has been discussed multiple times.
This is probably what you have seen. That's how it looks in the C Class, E and S Class as they weren't upgraded to MBUX. The latest E Class is now running MBUX and so CarPlay is no longer fullscreen there, too.
