2006 R230 aftermarket stereo just clicking
I have a 2006 R230 that I just replaced the stereo. I got a "cheap" Chinese one. I have verified that the head unit works by running RCA wires to a stereo in my garage. I have been through 3 MOST converter boxes. 1st one I was sent incorrectly (Sent a D2B box). 2nd box was DOA. I then received a 3rd box that works and emits light...finally! Well now I have it all hooked up, but the only sound coming out of my speakers is a faint clicking or popping noise. I cannot get any sound to come out. I have verified with a multimeter at the amp that the remote wire is engaging. Any thoughts?

No real updates at this point. I got really frustrated and put the stock system back in. I did figure out that my power plug on the aftermarket radio was loose. I had to tighten all of the pins. That helped a little. But I want to try a new convertor bix. I found one made by spiralaudio.com that I want to do so.e research on. Or...I will just buy the bluetooth adaptor, eeplace the stock speakers, add tweeters and call it a day. With spring coming up quickly, I am more focused on finishing the motor rebuild on my Harley!
