How safe: Activation Tools for Android Auto and Apple Carplay via OBD2 Socket

Talking How safe: Activation Tools for Android Auto and Apple Carplay via OBD2 Socket
Dear All,

I have a GLA 2018 (x156) for about three years now. I love my car but am fed up using the SatNav (Garmin Pilot). I have an Audio20 infotainment system with NTG5. So I plan to buy these activation kits for Apple Carplay and Android Auto.

My question is, how safe are these tools? also, would it void any sort of warranty I have with my car?
