REPLACEMENT PARTS (second hand)
Hi all.
I've taken my car in today as tge command screen and radio have stopped working.
I told the guy at the mercedes specialist. (Not a dealers) that it's not the command screen as I've tried to replace that.
his response was, "it wouldn't work anyway as replacement parts need programming" he also said. You can't use second hand parts as they need to be programmed into the car.
I don't believe that second hand parts cannot be used.
can you guys or girls educate me on this and tell me if I'm wrong.
