............you will need a kit that will alloew you to change the entire contents of the phone cradle. Then you will need the Starr dignostics program to input info on the new phone. I did not do this myself. E-mail me and I will connect you to the gentleman that did in my car.

Ted, where did you get the radar detector integrated into the mirror. I see the garage door opener buttons on the bottom of the mirror, so it looks like you kept all of the functionality, right?

BTW How do you use garag door opener buttons? I have a problem, when I press them the mirror needs to be readjusted, so I have to grip it when press. Any other technique?

That looks like a tackey place to install the controller for the xm. Why didn't you put it in the ashtray?
............Actually I like it. The XM as well as the DVD changer in the trunk and the DVD player in the glove compartment and the TV tunner are all controlled via the Marantz touch screen remote controller. I do not need to touch the XM controller in order to use it. Also, it allows the babe or whoever is in the passenger seat to use the cars wntertainment system and allow me to concentraye on driving if I wish. The PS2 also has a wireless controller, so neither me nor my passenger need to touch these things to get them to work.
...............My installs were done by me, by a friend that installs for Hi Fi Buys, and the ntegration with command was initially done by a Mr. Jim Laplant in Atlanta. Since then however I do the command work myself. If you need Mr. Laplant's number, e-mail me.

.................a friend of mine who does audio installs at Hi-Fi Buys did it.
...........yes the garage door opener works and all functionality retained
............I am not sure I understand why you have to readjust your rear view mirror after you press your garage door opener. This is not typical nor is it to be expected from any modification. Your rear vie mirror must be loose.
