E450 All Terain Wagon
W213 MBUX Questions
I purchased a 2022 E450 All Terrain 4 Matic Wagon that was an "Executive Demonstrator". I am new to the M-B scene coming from the Porsche world.
I received a set of owner's manuals but I suspect the manual for the MBUX system is missing as the main owner's manual has very little info on it.
Should there have been a separate manual for the MBUX system? (Burmeister Surround System but NOT the 3D(?) system)
What are the NTG6 and NTG7 designations mean? ***I've since discovered the difference ***
Does my car have an SD card slot? (I haven't found one yet) I'm wanting to put my music on an SD or Memory Stick (where it is now)
I've done so many Google searches for this info and gone down so many rabbit holes my head is spinning.

No SD card slot any more but you can play music from a USB stick attached to one of the USB slots. You can also play music directly from your phone if the files are already there.
NTGx refers to the telematics generation in the car, not any audio variant like MB used to have Comand or Audio 20 etc.

No, there isn't a separate owners manual for MBUX. NTG is short for New Telematics Generation and is the internal designation for the Infotainment system. Up to NTG 5.x, the brand name of the system was COMAND. Starting with NTG 6 it was renamed to MBUX. MBUX isn't actually a completely new system. It's just a major new version. NTG 6 is MBUX 1, which is what you have. NTG 7 is MBUX 2 found in the new S Class, C Class etc. NTG 8 is MBUX 3 found in the all-new E Class and the just announced CLE. They are making quick major version steps now, because MBUX has been fraught with bugs and problems.
