Question for SteveNL

Hey Steve,

I noticed on your webpage that the Euro CD10 radio tuner has been reprogrammed to receive all US stations without a problem. Can this also be done to the Euro COMAND units?

The hardware is physically modified - totally different radio equipment. So I am confident the answer is no.

I'm not Steve, but I can tell you that with the COMAND, the setting is not present in the firmware. Although both COMAND and Audio 10CD use a PLL tuner which can easily be programmed for tuning various frequencies, the COMAND firmware has does not have the feature to allow changing the frequency spacing.

Besides, if this were available, Steve would be doing it for everyone already, and the section on COMAND on his site would not list this as a difference between US and ECE COMAND 2.0.

Yes, I did see that this was listed as a difference on his website, but it has not been updated since May10 and I thought maybe something might have changed since then.
