Navigation Voice Guidance
Does anyone know how to disable or set the default to "off" for navigation voice guidance? It drives me crazy that I cannot permanently eliminate the voice guidance when using navigation. I know you can turn down the volume when the guidance is speaking, but it still interrupts what I'm listening to.

You gonna have to be a bit more specific and specify the model and year of the car you are asking about. It should be an option in the navigation settings, but where exactly it is depends on the year and model. Again, depending on the model and year you should be able to use voice control and say "Voice guidance off". Also, this should be explained in the owner's manual, so read that first.

This would be my 2014 C350 with NGT4.7 navigation. (I don't use Mercedes navigation in my 2015 SL400 since I added CarPlay.)

To be even clearer, it's really the traffic announcement I want to silence mostly. But other guidance as well. I did review the section in the operator's manual, so I will need to try it tomorrow.

If you want to turn off the Nav voice... you just have to wait until the Nav speaks and then lower the volume which will only lower the Nav volume and not the radio volume.
