Mercedes 2024 GLC 300 4matic SUV Newbies' ?s.
Hello,
I'm helping an old client who is a newbie like me with his brand new 2024 GLC 300 4matic SUV.
1. There's no audio CD player in this model. Is it possible to use an external one to connect to the SUV's audio system? I didn't see any audio input ports?
2. Is there a web site's digital PDF copy of the huge thick user manual?
3. I told SUV to connect to fast cable's wifi in the home's garage. Is Mercedes-Me Connect's iOS app not reliable in iPhone 11 Pro Max (iOS v16.7.2)? It seems to be updated slowly and showing status from long ago even if the iPhone is connected to home's reliable cable wifi. Is it still using cellular for Internet since home has very weak and no cellular coverage? iPhone has to use Wi-Fi calling with VZW at home. Also, its Maps (Google and Apple) complain about no Internet or very slow Internet. When I use SUV's web browser, it is fast. Are maps, Mercedes Me, and other apps not using home's cable's wifi?

As the car is VERY NEW, there are no options to install a Aftermarket CD. Mercedes is not the only brand moving away from this as most people stream their music, used USB to store their music or use Apple or Android Auto for music.
There is no work book out for your car however you might want to look to see if anything is there for a 2023 GLA which is likely the same. The site you can look up is called All-Data.
When it comes to internet with a car, I have not problem with my dongle in the garage however it really depends on were you have placed your extended (if using one).
