Bi-Xenon light bulbs

Thanks.
I've replaced my stock Bi-xenon HID ~4300K bulbs on my SL55 AMG R230 with upgraded 6000K HIDs. They are D2S-types (projector NOT D2R reflector). It's actually very easy except for space constraints (nimble, strong finger and small wrists help). Since HIDs are high-voltage and a liability for MB should you hurt yourself, MB recommends the service dealership to change them out. You can do it yourself although either disconnect the battery or pull the right headlamp fuse so no power goes anywhere near your little workspace.
Make sure you use a thin, disposable rubber glove to prevent touching the bulb and ceramic conductor on the D2S as oil from your fingers will creat hotspots and shorten the life of the bulbs. On my SL55:
1.) Disconnect the negative terminal on the battery or pull out the proper headlamp fuse.
2.) Remove the dust cover to the HID housing from inside the engine compartment.
3.) Unplug the electrical connector to the HID bulb base by turning 1/4 CCW and pulling.
4.) Turn the plastic locking ring a half turn CCW to disengage the bulb base from the housing. The ring actually secures the HID bulb to the inside of the housing.
5.) Turn the bulb 1/4 turn CCW to remove it. There are 3 tabs on the bulb base that aligns the bulb for insertion or removal.
6.) Replace with new HID bulb and reverse the steps to install. Be sure that there is a positive click on the securing ring. Also, make sure that the new HID bulb is properly in place with no play.
7.) Repeat for other side.
Pm me for any questions as I've done this on several different vehicles and they are all essentially the same.
I hope this helps you a lot. It's easy!
I'm certain you don't need pics to do this successfully, especially since there isn't much to take pics of (maybe of the parts). Take a look at your HIDs and you'll see what I mean. There's basically a plug, HID bulb and securing ring.

I will take a look of the light assembly first before I remove the Xenon bulbs.
Of course, I will disconnect the battery before this.
