I went to look at a 2020 Premium Plus GLE today. One of the things I noticed was the front drivers side didn't have the silver Burmester speaker cover while the others had it.
How can I confirm it's a Burmester speaker underneath? The dealer said the standard speak can't connect to the Burmester loom as the connectors are different. So it's most probably a factory mistake with the speaker cover. He said it's quite difficult and time-consuming to remove the door card and check. That can' be true.

Check your EQ settings, if the vehicle is equipped, the Burmester logo should appear there. Otherwise, decode your VIN and it should show.

Hmmm, I re-read your post and realized this is a new vehicle and you are the first owner, so that means you don't know if the factory installed the wrong speaker, is that what you are wondering?
