Head-up display issue


Hello everyone!

I've been having a problem with my head-up display for a while now.
As you can see from the photo, it's as if there's a light leak.
My Mercedes garage told me they didn't know about this problem, so they don't know where it's coming from.
They're asking €1,200 if I want to change it.
If anyone knows what the problem is and has a slightly cheaper solution, I'd be grateful.
