Looking to see how I can get a case open with a technical contact with Mercedes. I have tried working through Customer Service via the website, but they could not help and advised me to go back to the local dealer. The local dealer realizes there is a problem but do not seem to know how to address.
When I test drove the car, the mirrors on each of the car had projection lights with each side displaying different messages (Left side was the AMG ribbon with the word AMG in the light, and the passenger side had the same AMG ribbon with Mercedes in the light)
After purchasing the car the dealer kept the car to address some recalls and upgrade software. After that work both projection lights are just lights no message. The research I have done states I should have a setting under MBUX to turn this on, but under the MBUX the setting is only for exterior lights, (which is on) no digital light settings (if that is the correct menu name)
running MBUX apilevel/ntg6/081. Which I believe to be the latest version.
