No sound from phone when MBUX navigation is turned on
I was wondering if anyone knows how to resolve an issue I'm having. For context this is for a 2024 GLC43 and I didn't have this issue prior to getting a now steering wheel under warranty.
Steering wheel buttons would stop working and a week ago the dealership replaced the steering wheel and reset all the MBUX settings , which fixed the buttons issue, but now there is another problem.
If I have Spotify or YouTube music playing and I turn on MBUX navigation, the music stops and no sound is coming from the phone. The track timer is still going so the music is still playing.. For me to get the sound to work, I have to switch to FM radio and then back to the phone. Sometimes this works and sometimes it plays for a second and stops again. Have to do this over and over to eventually get it to play, and it's not consistent.
I have tried changing the fade out navigation setting, disconnecting and reconnecting the phone, neither worked to fix this.
Has anyone experienced anything like this?
