W210 Bluetooth Aux Help Needed
I have a W210 that I usually play my phone through the auxiliary port in the glovebox. I recently bought a bluetooth cable that plugs into the aux port and is powered by USB, which I plugged into my cigarette lighter adapter. When using it, I get no sound playing from my phone, but I do hear static if I turn the volume up. The static changes if I spin the cigarette lighter adapter. I am assuming my problem is that it's powered from there, but is there anything I can do to fix it?
I would sometimes use a splitter that had both aux and a phone charger plugged into the cigarette lighter, and I would get a mix of music and static.
If someone else was using the charger, and I was using aux separately, then my music was fine.
