C117 Headlight coding issue arrrgghh!
Hi guys,
I wonder whether anyone has any suggestions to help?
My 2016 cla 220d headlight control unit stopped working and our MB approved garage have bought a new one.
Problem is they can't scan the QR on the headlight unit (because it is smudged, the headlight has been tested and is definitely working) Because the headlight QR wont work they can't code the control unit to the headlight.
The garage have raised the issue with MB who advised only option is to buy a new headlight unit, which is going to cost nearly £1000 after installation costs.
Surely this cannot be right? Absolutely gutted. Hoping someone has a solution, thank you

You can buy new module yourself they exist as PnP only downside is no communication with diagnostic.
