MBUX Upgrade to Latest?
Has anyone successfully upgraded their MBUX from earlier year vehicles to latest version?
As far as I am aware all recent cars have the same hardware, so should be technically possible.
I have a 2022 GLS, and want to upgrade to the 2024 system with full screen CarPlay etc.

It's almost never possible. Even if the hardware looks the same, the software is locked to the car's specific model year and hardware ID. A dealer can't even do it.
The only way to get the new features is through third-party hardware, like a Carlinkit adapter, that tricks your current system into thinking it has full-screen CarPlay.
