Amplifier question : Please help!

Okay guys, so I have a Rockford Punch 100x2, however the amp is now spiking so I need to replace it. So I went to my audio shop and they said 90 bucks installation, does that mean that it costs that much to install it? Dont they just have to swap the cables and wires from the old amp to the new amp? Or do they have to rewire the whole system? Can someone help? Thanks!!

They probably figure that if you cant do a 5 minute job yourself that they may as well just charge you as much as they can.

If you are too lazy to read the installation instructions on the new amp you deserve to be charged an hour labor. :p :v

Hey Vik its honestly not that hard... from the pictures I have seen of your ML on sound domain, your RF gear is OOOOLD school, lol. Too bad it died cuz its a good amp. If you take a picture of the old amp with the end caps off, and a picture of the new amp, Ill give you step by step instructions on how to do it... check my ML out on sound domain I did most of it myself
