Gwagen command question
With all of the command talk lately it has me wondering if the new G500 cabriolet I am having shipped to the US from Germany will have issues I am not aware of. Am I going to have any navigation or other problems in the US? I know it has a tv tuner and am assuming that won't work in the US but will everything else?

Wouldnt it have been easier if these matters were cleared before you handed over the money ?
In any event the TV is fine and the navigation just requires the same disc as any other current CD based C-Class or similar aged CLK.
AM radio might be somewhat annoying.
Not sure about the phone but it may be limited to GSM type signals.

Thanks, and yes it would have however the command was not my main reason for wanting the car. It wouldn't make or break it for me if it didn't work in the US and I knew if it came down to it I could always order a US one from the Gwagen they sell here.

You'll have no problem, people swap out their US COMANDs for Euro ones all the time. Everything will work, the AM band spacing is slightly different. Takes 10 minutes to swap out if needed.
