Mercedes benz 1991 300ce(RIP), now an 89 300ce
radio remove
i have a 300ce and i would like to replace the radio. unforuantely i need a special tool to remove it.(it should look like one of teh sides of this: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-SbOjXOa...20&I=120869001) does anyone know how i can make the tool, so i dont have to buy it? i tried making it myself but it didnt seem to unlock the radio. thanks in advance.

What year of 300CE? My dad has an 88 300CE, but I don't recall having to buy any special parts to remove the stock tape player. Let me check on that for you, though.

As a certified installer and owner of a Benz I dont actually have a set of those keys... If you have like a set of pioneer radio removal keys you can grind them down to work... If you want me to make you a pair PM your address to me and ill send em over!!!
