Pioneer OEL Screensaver
Anyone ever change the wallpaper or short movie through the software off the Pioneer website?
I've followed the instruction it gives to download the software, edit the photos, save them to an .lkd file.
Then you compile our list into an ent_disp.lka and burned it onto a CD.
Inserted it into my radio and all it will say is no audio. What else do you need to do to make the radio read your new wallpapers?
All it says in the software is to burn the ent_disp.lka and your're all set...

Option one: Importing your own files.
Download the OEL Software from http://www.pioneer.co.jp/car/pclink3a/index-e.html
Click on the corresponding icon for the display you wish to make ( make a movie, make a still picture, make a back ground video [BGV])
This will allow you to browse your computer for image files.
After you manipulate the picture/movie, click the SAVE btton. Choose the location you wish to save the file.
Once you have completed all your files, click on the "Write LKA File" button.
This will save the file as a ".LKA" file extension in the "ARCHIVE" folder, which is with the Screensaver Studio application on the Start menu.
Record the ".LKA" file to a CD-R or CD-RW.
Press OPEN to open the front panel.
Insert the disc containing the rewritten data into the CD loading slot.
Close the front panel.
Press SOURCE and hold until the unit turns off.
Press and hold EQ and Display buttons until the unit goes into download mode.
After FINISHED is displayed, press OPEN to open the front panel.
Press EJECT to eject the disc.
