HD on 2011 GL450 skipping

HD on 2011 GL450 skipping
I need help 
! I have taken my Mercedes GL450 to 2 dealers, RBM of Sandy Springs, Ga and RBM of Alpharetta, Ga regarding the HD radio skipping all the time. The 1st RBM said they didn't notice a problem and gave me the car back and now the 2nd RBM said there is definitely a problem with the HD skipping, but not anything that can be fixed. There only suggestion is to turn HD off every time I start the car. The skipping happens so often that I don't even want to listen to the radio because it is VERY frustrating. I have a Mercedes loaner car now until I pick mine up, and the HD radio has not skipped one time. Can I turn the HD off permanently? Is there a fix for this and I'm just being brushed to the side? Please give me some info if you have any. I live in Atlanta so could that be the cause due to too much interference. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! A car that costs as much as this one did should have a fully functioning radio.

I'm having the same issue on multiple FM channels in new (to me) 2014 E350 with HK system...it is annoying. will try other inputs (CD, Bluetooth, etc) to see if all are doing it as suggested in another thread.
