I make no claims to the degree of acuracy of this spreadsheet, but it is very helpful in comparing different leases, down payments, etc. It even will tell you your "effective" interest rate. Just be carefull not to overwrite the formula cells. Page 2 is used to input a 2nd lease option to compare the difference in terms, cars, etc. You need to know all of the inputs, such as
Residual (percentage terms from sticker)
Money Factor (input as .00225) for example
MSRP
Cap Cost Reduction (Down payment)
Term (24,36,39,48 etc)
Fees - vary with finance co
tax rate - if applicable, sales tax
Its very helpful once you get used to it. Most of it is intuitive, and labeled clearly. I forget where I got this, but I made my own tweeks, like adding a 2nd page, and a subtotal of out-the-door costs, etc.
Happy Leasing, hope this helps!!
