Breaking a lease

Breaking a lease
I have a '05 CLK500 with under 11,000 miles on it. I have a 39 month lease on the car with 15,000 miles a year. So far I have payed statement 18 of 39. I went to a dealer a month ago asking to break my lease and put me into a new MB but they told me it would cost me around $10,000 up front just to break the lease. I was thinking since I would be going from one MB to the next that they could give me some kind of deal or get me out of the lease altogether. I was thinking of getting my CLK500 swapped for a CLK550 or a used CLS55 (if thats possible).
Any suggestions? Thank you.

They're going to make you eat that depreciation regardless man, your buyout price at the end of the lease reflects that fact. Its an uphill battle to turn in a car that you've had for a year and a half on a 3 1/2 year lease.

How do I do a "swapalease?" I'm guessing you mean find somebody with the car I want and switch cars and leases? Are there any websites or services that deal with this? Thanks man.

if you didnt know about it your in luck... i just hope your payments are low.... heres the deal head over to www.swapalease.com then you can post up your car so somebody can assume your lease payments and relieve you of your obligation to your lease.... a lease transfer takes anywhere from 3 to 6 weeks to complete but its well worth it.
Swapalease's usual charge is about $100 to list your car... just call them and they will walk you through the process step by step
edit, btw you dont have to take their lease, they can just take yours hehe
