Question: For those who have assumed a lease.

Hello MBWorld - I posted this in the W211 E55 section but, I should of posted here first.

I have a question about taking over a lease. I recently found a seller who wants to get rid of his lease and he works at Mercedes Benz.
As I spoke to him about acquiring his lease, he mentioned that the whole process would take approximately 6-10 weeks through MB Financial.

I've had friends who have acquired leases and the process took at the MOST 2 and a half weeks (BMW,Audi, Land Rover). If someone can share some experiences that would be appreciated.
I searched and couldn't find much other than the FAQ's on leasetrader.com & swapalease.com

Thanks in advance.

Call Mercedes Benz Credit (1-800-654-6222).

They should be able to give you the details directly.

As a point of reference, I've transferred my leases to someone through BMW and Land Rover and both take 2-3 weeks to complete.
