What would you do? Have lease but new job has much longer commute.
Have a 3-yr, 30K mile lease on a 11' E350 which I got in Sept. Currently have 3,400 miles.
Mileage was fine with my old job with a short commute. I now have a new job and have to do a 120 mile round trip commute 2-3 times a week. This is obviously untenable with my lease.
What would you do in this situation? I'm only vaguely familiar with lease buy outs. Have also thought of buying a cheap commuter car.
Would appreciate your thoughts.

Just drive the Benz and pay the overage on the miles. They will really hit you on a buy out. Buying a junker for the commute defeats the purpose of owning or leasing a Benz.

You can either just drive it and pay the over milage. Lets say you go over 10k at 0.25 a mile
thats 2500 not to bad.. but if your in your first year of ownership you can " up" the milage and
just roll it in to the payment.. You have 30 months to go so that would make your payment increase by $80 or so.. in my opinion way throw out the cash just spread out the payment
