My car is due to be turned in soon. I had the resonator taken off my car. I did a pre-inspection and everything was fine, can I just hand the keys in and walk away now?

Do I need to put the resonator back since they didn't even notice it?

I guess my question is, once i turn the car in, do they do a more thorough inspection and will they find the missing resonator?

I am sure the exhaust is supposed to be complete and original. Will they notice? Your guess is as good as anyone's.
