How much time to give dealer to payoff lease after trade-in?
I read about the dealer "forgot to payoff trade-in" scam.
MB dealer got me out of my existing MBFS lease and put me into another new MB. I called MBFS but there's no indication of the trade-in payoff after 1 week. How much more time should I give the dealer before I need to start worrying as the old lease is still under my name but dealer took the car? Next payment is due mid-Sept.
