Trade in car due for device
Hello folks,
I am waiting for a new car that I built/ordered to arrive and I plan to trade in the Mercedes that I own now. My current car is due for service but I don’t want to service it and then trade it in 1 month later. I would basically be paying for the next owner. Do you know if the dealer will reduce the trade in value if they see the car is due for service?

Once you trade in the car - all bets are off. Your service records (should) be available, any potential buyers should check them and see what their status is.
For me, when I buy a car...new or used. I change the oil and service it....
