Nice ride man! I had a week with a new B250 while my c-class is in the shop and I just wished they keep the peppy 2.0 turbo charged engine from the previous generation. I did a drag race with my B200 turbo and the new car just get's left behind. I also hate the stop and go feature of the new car as when it starts it just shakes the entire car.

BTW....If you are leasing the car better buy new non-runflat tires. You will have better ride comfort than the run-flats and you won't spend a lot of money getting a new run-flat when returning it from lease. If you do replace the run-flat better invest on a flat tire inflation kit.

shotgun_banjo, thanks, glad you like my wife's ride! Got to disagree with you though, the new 2 litre turbo motor makes the B250 much quicker than previous model, no question. The motor stop and go feature works really well also, no delays at all, and can be turned off if desired with one button touch, but I never have. I do, however, almost always touch the sport mode button as soon as I start the car, much more fun than the default economy mode.
I bought non run flat snows, Nokian Hakka's, and man, these are the best snows I've ever driven, makes you almost over-confident in snow or ice. The run flat summers drive really well for me also, no complaints about comfort. I bought the car, so when time comes to replace the summers tires, will probably buy non run flats. I keep a can of that flat tire goop and a tire inflater pump in the trunk, and will rely on those, and / or the MB roadside assistance. Cheers!

B250
Bubbles

G'day,

I see a bit of a thread about B250 tyres.

I've posted a similar thread, check it out.

To summarise: got GY F1 A2 run flats, 25,000km and lots of tread left. But, 2 tyres have developed sidewall bubbles and need early retirement. Haven't inspected the inside so could be more.

What is your experience?

Do you know anything about Continental ContiSportContact 5P SSR run flats?
