I've been doing quite a few Teslas lately, with them becoming more an more common. The chrome on the Teslas are generally more tricky/tedious to do, but I've managed a good system to get good results consistently for these cars now. The owner of this Tesla Model 3 wanted to black out all of the exterior chrome pieces on the car. Blacking out all of the chrome pieces on the car really gives the Tesla a sportier look and feel. We did a mixture of matte black and gloss black on various areas of the car, depending on what matched and worked best for those pieces. The owner of this car was in Irvine Orange County and I came out to them to do the chrome delete vinyl wrap on their car.

A lot of vinyl work was done on the outside and inside of this white BMW F10 540i sedan, but most of this post will be primarily focused on the wrapping that was done on the interior of the car. I tried to take pictures in a manner that allowed you to more easily see how the before/after looked like with the carbon fiber wrap done over the factory wood finish. To give the car a more aggressive look, we went with the black carbon fiber on the interior. The carbon fiber on the interior nicely tied in with the carbon fiber accents that were already on the exterior of the car. The owner of this car was in Irvine Orange County and I went out to him to do all of the wrap work on his car.

I really liked the way this new 2018 Lexus LX570 SUV turned out from blacking all of the chrome trim accents on it. It's not as common to see SUVs getting vinyl work done, but it should be more common, because it really gives them a much more aggressive look that isn't normally expected when you look at or think of an SUV. Everything that was done on the car was still subtle enough that for anyone who didn't know how the car looked like before would have just thought that the car came that way from the factory. The owner of this car was in Cerritos Orange County and I came out to them to do the vinyl wrap work on this car.

For this brand new black Audi Q5 SUV, we blacked out the majority of the silver/chrome trim accents that were on the car, which included the rear bumper lower diffuser section, window trim, lower door trim pieces and the small center lip on the front bumper of the Q5. We left the badges and grill for now, but eventually the grill will most likely be blacked out as well, to finish off the black out look. The owner of this car was in Lake Forest Orange County and I came out to them to do the wrap work.

On this grey Model X P90D SUV, we blacked out almost all of the chrome pieces on the car, but by request from the owner of the car, we kept the emblems/badges chrome. For this picture set, I tried to take more up close up and detailed pictures of the various areas around the car that were wrapped. A common issue that most Tesla owners who get their chrome pieces blacked out is that sometimes the wrappers working on their cars aren't able to properly wrap the mirror and mirror base chrome pieces. This ends up resulting in chrome showing when the mirror is in its folded position or a lot of unnecessary seam lines. The owner of this Model X was in Lake Forest Orange County and we came out to them to do all of the wrap work on their Tesla.

Overview:

- 3M 1080 gloss black interior wood trim vinyl wrap

Before buying his car, the owner of this black 997 Carrera 2 coupe had messaged me asking if I could wrap over the wood interior trim pieces that were on the car. Once I told him I could do it, he bought the car and the very next day I was there to do the wrap work. Some people may like the wood interior, but the owner of this car wanted something more sporty and modern looking, so we went with the gloss black finish on the interior. The gloss black trim helped blend the trim pieces in with the already black interior, but since it was a glossy finish, it still gave it some contrast and accented the rest of the interior nicely. The owner of this car was in Lake Forest Orange County and I came out to him to do all of the vinyl wrap work.

- Gloss black roof vinyl wrap
- Gloss silver 3M 1080 G251 interior trim vinyl wrap

For this silver Mercedes SL55 AMG, we vinyl wrapped the roof in gloss black and then also vinyl wrapped over the original wood trim on the interior of the car with 3M 1080 G251 gloss silver vinyl wrap. Doing these two things really updated the look of the car. The gloss black roof gave the car a slightly more aggressive look, while the silver on the interior trim of the car gave it a more modern and sporty feel. The silver finish on the interior really complimented the exterior color of the car fairly well. The owner of this car was in Newport Beach Orange County and I came out to them to do the wrap work.

- Full 3M 1080 S21 Satin Black vehicle vinyl car wrap
- Tinted / smoked rear tail lights

The owner of this brand new BMW F06 M6 Gran Coupe wanted to add a unique look to his car, so after discussing ideas and options, we decided to go with a full matte black vehicle wrap on his M6. The matte black finish gave the car a much more aggressive look and also suited the already naturally aggressive look that the M6 has from the factory. We decided to leave certain areas on the car gloss black as to act as accent pieces, to help balance out the overall look of the car and give it some more character.

- Gloss black roof rails vinyl wrap

To help clean up the chrome on this blue Audi Allroad, we blacked out the chrome window trim and roof rails with 3M 1080 gloss black vinyl wrap. Getting rid of the chrome around the windows and on the roof really cleaned up the look of this blue Allroad and gave it a more aggressive overall look. As you can see, some other pieces on the car were still kept chrome/sliver, which gave the car a good overall balance that complimented the finish of the wheels nicely. The owner of this car was in Santa Monica Los Angeles and we went out to them to do the wrap work.

Going for a more aggressive look for this black Mercedes CLS63 AMG sedan, we blacked out all of the remaining chrome pieces on the exterior of the vehicle. In addition to blacking out the chrome, we also lightly tinted/smoked the rear tail lights. Blacking out all of the chrome pieces really tied in well with the black wheels on the car.

I had to come back a few weeks later to take the after pictures of this car, so the car/wrap was dirty compared to the before pictures. The owner of this white Audi Q7 wanted a more aggressive look for his SUV, so we decided to black out all of the chrome and silver accents that were on the exterior of the vehicle. We did a mixture of gloss black and matte black, depending on the areas that the pieces were located. On the front grill, we used both gloss and matte black, which gave the grill a nice contrasting look. The owner of this car was in Newport Beach Orange County and we came out to them do to the wrap work.
