B250 premature brake failures
Hi everyone,
4 months ago I purchased a used 2014 B250 from a MB dealership, since then I have been back 2 times already for the same issue of premature front brake failure. MB is telling me the rotors are warped and have replaced pads and rotors for N/C 2 times already.
I drive the car on a daily basis to/from work but most of the kilometers are Hwy with minimal stop and go traffic.
I have to mention that I am very easy on vehicles and do not ride the brakes. Previous brake replacements on a older B200 was around 70k klm.
Currently my B250 is at MB for the 3rd set of pads/rotors in 4 months. The rotors seemed to fail around 3k Klms each time. MB checked the entire front end for worn components including calipers and sliders. I was told on Friday that nothing appeared to be out of the ordinary.
My question is, has anybody experienced this before with MB on any model?
MB has acknowledged this is not normal but can't find anything wrong. Is it a bad batch of rotors/pads?
I'm at the point where a thermal camera I have access to is my next step
